Robin James is an author and former academic, currently working as Editor of Philosophy, Literary Theory, and Music & Sound Studies at Palgrave Macmillan. She will conduct a workshop for junior scholars interested in turning their ideas into a successful book proposal. She will also discuss the details of the publication process, and how to pitch a project to an editor. 

This ARI workshop is geared toward graduate students and early career faculty, and is appropriate for anyone wanting to learn more about academic publishing. Attendance is required for ARI Graduate Student fellows.
