Dee Hibbert-Jones, Art, Sharon Daniel, Film and Digital Media, Craig Haney, Psychology, Gina Dent, Feminist Studies, and Rachel Nelson, Institute of the Arts and Sciences, co-conveners. This research cluster will discuss intersections across faculty research on abolition and incarceration and consider new research collaboration possibilities specifically in relation to the notion of storytelling as a critical central concern in criminal justice reform and abolition. We will also discuss and consider the implication and damaging impacts incarceration has on the climate.
